Appreciating one of the most underrated and noble professions out there is something we should never forget to do. We’re, of course, talking about teachers. The teaching staff at Waynewood Elementary School has dedicated their professions and lives to educating future generations. For this reason, we were happy to have the opportunity to show support and appreciation for our hard-working teachers by partaking in the teacher appreciation pop-up at Waynewood Elementary School.

Spending some time with the teachers at Waynewood Elementary School was a true honor! Our own Devin Thompson was happy to be there!

Since giving back to our community is one of the most important ventures Fairfax Transfer and Storage partakes in, having the opportunity to be a part of this pop-up and surprise the teachers of Waynewood Elementary School meant a lot. We’re equally lucky to have the help of our clients who are as dedicated to socially useful work as we are.

Making the day a little sweeter

The teacher appreciation pop-up at Waynewood Elementary was held on the 20th of January, in an effort to brighten up the day and show recognition and respect. With great regard for the teaching profession, we’ve helped make Friday morning a bit sweeter by being one of the donut sponsors.

Apart from the teacher appreciation donut surprise, the teaching staff also had a chance to enter and win a Door Prize. There were other great prizes as well. They include a Top Teacher’s Pets competition and a chance to vote on your favorite Romantic Movie to win a $100.00 Valentine’s Day Dinner! The atmosphere was cheery and the event had served its purpose. It showed how much the community appreciates the hard work teachers do every day.
